Home Camp: Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26, 2024
Where: Home camp is held at Walled Lake Northern
Home Camp is where your student starts to learn all the fundamentals of Marching Band. We feed our Marching Knights lunch each day.
Typical daily schedule (subject to weather):
- Field 9:00am - 11:45am
- Lunch
- Sectionals 12:45pm - 1:55pm
- Full Rehearsal 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Away Camp: Monday, July 29 – Saturday, August 3, 2024
Where: YMCA Camp Ohiyesa, 7300 Hickory Ridge Rd, Holly, MI 48442.
Marching Band Away Camp is a mandatory camp for all members of the Marching Knights! Away camp is just that, it takes place away from home and school. This is an immersive experience that enables the students to form that critical bond to play as one unit in addition to learning the music and formations on the field for the coming season.

- Field work in the morning
- Lunch
- Free time
- Sectionals
- Full Band
- Dinner
- Evening Field Work
- Evening Activities
Preview Show: Saturday, August 3, 2024
Where: Walled Lake Northern Football Field
Our Marching Knights get off the bus from camp and head onto the football field to perform a show for family and friends to show-off everything they have learned and accomplished in those two weeks.
This event is free.
Afterwards, you can collect your child, their medications from camp, check the lost and found pile and go home to feed them good food and then let them rest!
