Walled Lake Northern Marching Band Registration 2024

 

Registration for the 2024 Marching Band season will take place in person on Wednesday, April 24th at Walled Lake Northern. Doors open at 6pm for form turn-in and registration questions in the commons. The Band Director's presentation will begin at 7pm in the WLN Auditorium.

 

Prior to attending registration, families must complete the following:

Step 1:

Complete the 2024 WLN Marching Band Online Registration form. 

 

STEP 2:

Sign-up / Update MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT: wlnmb.membershiptoolkit.com

  • New Marching Band parents: Sign-up for a Membership Toolkit Account! This is where we update the Marching Band calendar, send announcements, and where you can make online payments. We need ALL members to have an account so that you can receive all band e-mail updates throughout the season, please take a few minutes to make sure you are fully signed up! It will likely ask you to verify your account by clicking on an email they send you before you can enter all of your information. Give yourself about 10 minutes to complete this process. You will need to go into your My Account > My Forms > and put in your Parent / Student Information. For step-by-step instructions, please visit: Registering on Membership Toolkit.

    For families with multiple sets of parents, such as in divorce, please only set up only ONE account for your student. Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.

  • Returning Marching Band parents: Please log into your account on Membership Toolkit to ‘update’ your account for this school year so that it will put you back into active status on our end and you will continue to receive e-mails from us. To update your account, you will need to go into your My Account > My Forms > and update your Parent / Student Information.

STEP 3:

Make sure you are connected to these other ways to receive information from us!

  3. Bookmark our website: https://wlnmb.membershiptoolkit.com/. You will only need to login when making payments or updating information in your account.

STEP 4:

Complete Forms

Print out (or preview) the 2024 WLN Marching Band Registration Packet. We will have copies available at registration (and in the band room for current students) for those who are unable to print from home. This contains important parent & student infomation, as well as paper forms that will need to be turned in during registration.

 

Form Turn-in Nights

  • May 7th - anytime between 6-8 pm in the WLN Band Room (F110)
  • May 23rd - anytime between 6-7 pm in the Commons prior to the CHS Concert
  • May 30th* - anytime between 6-8 pm in the WLN Band Room (F110)

STEP 5:

Attend in-person registration and complete payment of marching band fees.

 

 At In-Person Registration:

  1. We will confirm that parents & students are registered in Membership Toolkit. If not, families will be required to register at this time. We will have laptops ready and volunteers to help.

  2. Turn in all required paper forms from the 2024 WLN Marching Band Registration Packet. Please arrive with all forms "required for registration" filled out completely.

  3. Students can be fitted for marching band gloves and you may check out our selection of used marching shoes ($10). We will be fitting for NEW marching shoes (gloves too for those who didn't get fitted at registration) during Home Camp.

  4. Check out other tables such as Spiritwear, Marching Knights yard signs, Decals, and RaiseRight to learn how you can earn money towards registration fees, trips, etc.

  5. Families will turn in their Marching Band Payment. Pay in full ($505) or you may bring 4 separate checks and we will cash according to the payment schedule below. Families my pay via checks (made out to WLNMB) or by credit card in-person at registration or in Membership Toolkit (credit card fees apply).

 

Marching band fees:

$505 for Student #1 / $325 for Additional Student(s)

 

All fees must be turned in during registration. If paying in installments, please write 4 seperate checks and date them according to the schedule below. They will be deposited on or soon after the 'Check Dated' date.

Important Note about Physicals:

 

A sports physical form dated ON or AFTER April 15, 2024 is REQUIRED for students to participate in the Marching Band. Please schedule an appointment with your pediatrician or doctor to complete the form between April 15 and before the first practice. Students must have the physical turned in at first practice in order to participate. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to go to your own doctor during this time frame, most Urgent Care locations will complete the physical form for a minimal charge.
