Mrs. H and the band reps are starting to prepare for the upcoming season. Get your calendar out and mark April 21st! This is marching band registration night! This event will take place in the Commons and in the Auditorium in the evening. More details to come!
It feels like we are on a freight train riding quickly to the end of the school year, so marching band members should remember to mark their calendars for the Memorial Day Parade. It is the final performance for our 2025/2026 school year. Monday, May 25th will be here before we know it! Please note, this event includes our current seniors, but does not include our incoming freshman.
Speaking of seniors...the junior class, soon to be senior class, met with Mrs. H for the first planning meeting to discuss music options for the new show! Time marches on! (see what I did there?)

ORCHESTRA NEWS
Congratulations on a wonderful pre-festival concert that was performed at WLN in February. The crowd enjoyed the pieces that were played.
HELP WANTED: The Music Boosters is looking for an orchestra representative. This person would give us the inside scoop on all things orchestra. If you know someone who might be interested, please contact Liz Vachon at lizvachon@gmail.com.
WE WANT YOU!
There are so many ways to get involved with your child's musical passion and here are some current/future needs to make our program successful:
Orchestra Representative: Attends the booster meetings monthly and reports on all things orchestra.
Vice President: We would like to elect a new Vice President, since our VP will be graduating this year! If you are interested in learning more about this position, please let Liz Vachon know.
Shadow for Spiritwear: Our incredible spiritwear coordinator, Christine Oesch will be starting her final year with our program next school year. Shadowing for this job will create great success for the next person. This job has LOTS of flexibility and very little time that you have to give in person. This is a great job for any parent. Please contact Liz Vachon for more information.
Food Rep Assistant: Our food rep, Aimee Gurski needs a partner in crime to help feed the marching band this season. The students love to eat, and we love to give them food. Join Aimee and be a literal hero in the eyes of 200 teenagers!

Winter Color Guard is a great way for existing guard members to keep up the skills learned during marching season. It is also a great way for those new to guard to get a taste of what color guard is all about. Members of Winter Color Guard get to learn more directly with coaches and existing members, as well as socialize and practice with the rest of the guard during the off season. It is an opportunity for the members who are trying out for leadership to learn how to lead but not yet have the full responsibility. For all members, it’s a great chance to learn choreography early, learn new skills, and to perfect old ones. Join the Winter Color Guard on Monday nights at 6:15. Meetings will begin at the Circle Desk and move to the Auxiliary Gym or other practice areas. Anyone is welcome to join, no sign up required.
