All the magic of band camp happens thanks to our amazing volunteers—like you! We’d love for you to sign up and be part of the fun. Volunteer opportunities are updated regularly, so feel free to check back often for new openings. 

We cannot hold Away Camp unless all overnight chaperone slots are filled, as required by our contract with the YMCA. Please consider staying overnight and helping us make camp a success!

Sign-up links for the Photography and Medical Teams have already been sent to those who previously expressed interest and have the necessary skills.

However, many of our incredible medical volunteers have graduated, and we now have several important spots to fill. If you have medical training or experience, we’d love to have you join the team!

Thank you for volunteering - camp wouldn’t be possible without you! Please review the following expectations to help everything run smoothly:

📋 General Requirements

• You must be signed up as a volunteer to be at camp.
• Sign in and out each day:
  • Home Camp: Volunteer table in the CHS Cafeteria Hallway
  • Away Camp: Red volunteer tent near the main parking lot
• Wear your yellow volunteer lanyard at all times while on site.
• Return your lanyard when your shift is complete.

📝 Before You Arrive

• Read the job description in your sign-up to ensure it’s a good fit for you.
• Complete an online Criminal History Form and in order to volunteer.

🏕️ At Camp

• Take your role seriously, especially if you're a chaperone. It may seem quiet at times, but your presence is essential and required.
• Overnight Chaperones (Away Camp):
  • We cannot guarantee you’ll be placed with your student or friend.
  • You’ll definitely see them, but cabin assignments vary.
  • We welcome girl dads and boy moms—thank you for stepping up!
• If outdoors, wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
