RUTH & VAL KNOW HOW TO FEED THE CROWD!
This dynamic duo have the job of feeding your marching band kids and they have this down to a science. Ruth and Val have found a way to make what might feel like a daunting task to feed over 200 people, into a fun and joyful volunteer job. These ladies have become very close over the years and will be friends for life just because they volunteered. Here is what they had to say:
"We are headed into our 5th year of being food reps for the band. We have thoroughly enjoyed the fun and craziness of serving your kids. We are responsible for all food served at home camp, games and the banquet. We especially like when we get to treat the kids with ice cream and popsicles at the camps. We enjoy spending so much time together. The kids are always so thankful for the meals we serve. This will be our last year as food reps so if it is something you would like to take over, reach out and shadow us! It is promised to be a good time with lots of laughs and immense reward."
Thank you Ruth & Val for your continued leadership. The team that will take over for you is very lucky because you have created a program that will be easy to follow. Your legacy will continue on in the form of burgers, pizza, ice cream, and much more!
