The Marching Knights are ready to show of their show Runaway Knights on Thursday, August 29th!  Pre-Game will begin at 6:40 with kickoff at 7pm. The halftime show is not one to be missed, and we can't wait to see our Marching Knights bring their show to life! See you there!

We need volunteers to help and we are looking for donations to make this a great day for our Marching Knights.

Students will begin practice at 2:30 pm. Dinner is served to them around 4 pm.

Walled Lake Consolidated Schools has partnered with GoFan for digital ticketing starting this spring for all home athletic events.

Fans can purchase tickets online through each schools’ GoFan page or by presenting a card or mobile payment option at the ticket gate. All major credit cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, will be accepted.

Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online before arriving at the event. For your convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans make an online purchase quickly and easily.

No cash options will be available starting in the Fall of 2024.

Another great year of choir is about to begin. We are all looking forward to what Mrs. Ward will be working on with her students this year.

We are so excited to announce our new orchestra teacher, Lauren Phillips! We can't wait to welcome her to Northern Nation! 

There are so many ways to get involved with your child's musical passion and here are some current/future needs to make our program successful:

Choir Representative: comes to the booster meetings monthly and reports on all things choir. 

Uniform Chair: (shadow for the 2024/2025 school year, then take over): This position fits all band, choir, and orchestra students in their concert uniforms (NOT MARCHING BAND UNIFORMS). You do not need to be able to sew. You can do this volunteer job and still have a daytime job. You are in charge of when fittings happen. You will fit them at the beginning of the school year, and you will be in charge of the return of the uniforms. A few more details involved, but this is the basic overview. SO FUN WITH A FRIEND!!! 2 Marching Band Reps: (Shadow for the 2024/2025 school year, then take over). This is an incredibly important job and without it, the kids don't have band camp. PLEASE consider inquiring about this position to Amy Crossfield at  wlnmbcampforms@gmail.com or Lisa West at  west.lisa@hotmail.com. 

Food Rep Shadows for Fall of 2025: Feeding the band is one of the coolest jobs you can have. Teenagers love to eat and they love when you feed them! Please consider shadowing our food reps or you can ask them any questions by emailing Ruth Jeffries at thejeffries73@hotmail.com or Val DePotter at  vdepotter@att.net 

Lisa is one of our Band Reps and volunteers her time to ensure that students are safe, and able to have a wonderful camp experience. Lisa says: "I love volunteering as a Band Rep because I love helping all of the kids as they need it, whether it be a cabin issue at camp or not feeling well, they know that I am there to support them." 

Natalia is a senior trombone player and really enjoys the marching band. Natalia says, "I really love marching band because I get to see my friends; also, H makes good connections with us, and she knows how to teach everyone at their learning level. "

Nolan is a freshman in the trombone section. When asked what he loves the most about marching band, he said, "I like hanging out with friends."

Michigan Daily 3 fundraising event is well underway!  It's a great and easy way for the music boosters to make money and our participants to WIN money!  The tickets were handed out at check-in for away camp, (thank you Toni Clary!) 

If you are in need of MORE tickets to sell, please feel free to reach out to Toni at mstonim@comcast.net. Remember top seller gets $250 credit towards next year's marching band fees. Must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets.  

UPDATE: WE ONLY HAVE APPROXIMATLY 190-ISH TICKETS LEFT TO SELL! 

We want to sell them all, so please let Toni know if you need more and she will arrange for you to have them.

Raise Right has rolled out an additional way to earn funds.  This new option appears similar to Rakuten.  Participants can opt in by adding the Raise Right extension to their browser and following the prompts.
