You need to be ON the field at 9am, so if you are on-time, you are late. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Photography and Medical sign-ups are sent directly to those volunteers. If you'd like to join either team, please reply to this email and we will forward you the information.

Each day, students should have closed-toe shoes, weather and dress code appropriate clothing, a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, and a labeled water bottle. Also, please make sure your student eats a good breakfast before they come. 

Students should also bring a pencil, their music and a lyre if needed (which can be purchased from Marshall Music if you need it). If your student is new to marching band and isn't sure if they'll need a lyre, have them reach out to their section leader (whom they hopefully have heard from).

We feed our Knights lunch each day.  Most of the students (vegetarian, nut free, etc.) can eat from the normal lunch line as we provide options for them. We will have dairy free options for those that need them. Stay in the line to the right and be sure to ask the food server.  If your child is unsure about any aspect of this process, have them ask for Ruth Jeffries or Val DePotter. 

You are welcome to send a lunch for your student, however, please make sure anything you send is nut free and you’ll want to include an ice pack to keep it cold.  If you have any questions, please ask.  We don't want any Knight going home hungry!! 

The daily menu will consist of an entrée, salad, fruit, and dessert.

We will be fitting students for their Marching Band uniforms on Monday July 24th - Friday July 28th from 9-3.

MARCHING SHOES & GLOVES

On Tuesday, July 25th, we will be fitting and ordering for NEW marching shoes and gloves. It is recommended that Marching Knights have 2 pairs of gloves, so they have a backup if necessary. Everyone, except pit and percussion, will need gloves.

On Wednesday, July 12th, we will have a small selection of USED marching band shoes that will be for sale prior to practice at 5:30 pm in the Orchestra room. Used shoes sell for $10 cash.

Cost:

• New marching shoes are $38 per pair. We will fit and order on Tuesday.
• Gloves are $3.50 per pair

Payment:

• Credit Card: Login to Membership Toolkit > My Account> Shoes & Gloves Payment. If paying by credit card, you must complete payment by Sunday July 23rd.
• Cash or Check (payable to WLNMB) brought in by Tuesday, July 25th.

We must have all forms July 12th.

Band Reps will be in the WLN Commons area on July 12^th from 5 - 8 pm to collect all Registration forms, Camp forms, signatures and payments. Any questions on what you are missing, please come in and see us on the 12th or email Amy at wlnmbcampforms@gmail.com.

Physicals: Per district rules, each student must have a physical completed this year, April 15, 2023 or after. Be sure it is signed by the doctor and both pages are completed with parent/student signatures by July 12th. 

YMCA form reminder: Please fill out completely and make sure you have the date of your students last tetanus shot (DTaP). You will need to call your doctors office if you don't already have it and they can typically tell you or email the information.

Missing forms and signatures: You will be receiving an email prior to July 12th if you're missing a form or any signatures. We currently have many forms that were sent in without all signatures needed. You will need to come in and sign on the 12th or you will need to upload a new completed form.
