A Message from Amy Gurski: The PTSA at Smart is collecting used red music uniform polos to donate to families that may struggle to purchase one. Several families have requested assistance, and I was asked to coordinate the effort. I’m reaching out to the Band, Orchestra and Choir directors to see if we can have a collection box at Northern. Donations will also be accepted at Smart and my home, 704 W Commerce Rd.

A Concert Uniform Co-Chair is urgently needed for the 2022-2023 school year! The current co-chair is a parent of a senior and will be retiring from this role. This important position will handle the coordination of concert uniform fittings and end of year uniform collection for WLN’s music students. No sewing or technical skills required! This position handles the logistics of scheduling fittings, organizing uniforms and coordinating volunteer opportunities. Get to know the hundreds of students in our wonderful music program at WLN! The concessions chair will manage all aspects of 2-4 multi-day concessions events during
the school.
Guaranteed Events
MSBOA - February (3 days)
WLN Musical - March (3 days)
Twirler Event - May (2 days)
This person(s) will be responsible for inventorying, requesting donations and purchasing
all items needed for a concessions event, creating sign-up genius for volunteers,
requesting and managing money, and coordinating set-up and clean up.
Photography Team- Duties would include photographing practices, games and camps! Be prepared to take amazing photos, and perfect photo editing skills to provide memories for our band students. Medical Team- Looking for qualified medical professionals for volunteer positions within the marching band.
